Vipan Sabharwal, Chairman of the Lord Valmiki Utsav Committee Punjab and the Valmiki Welfare Trust Shakti Nagar, stated that the seventh grand Valmiki Tirtha Amritsar bus journey will begin from the ancient Ali Mohalla with the sacred Palki Sahib of Lord Valmiki Ji Maharaj. The journey will proceed to Amritsar via Basti Adda, Sabzi Mandi Chowk, Patal Chowk, Workshop Chowk, Maksudan Mandi Chowk, and Vidhipur Railway Gate. Due to this, traffic will be affected on these routes today. The journey will depart by 1 pm and will involve a large group of devotees. The administration has appealed to people not to travel on these roads unnecessarily and to use alternative routes. Saints, Mahatmas, and many prominent members of society will be present on this occasion. The administration and organizers have taken special care with security and arrangements for the yatra.
