In a historic move, Punjab Police has successfully extradited dangerous Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Parminder Singh alias Pindi from Abu Dhabi (UAE) to India. The Punjab Police carried out this operation in close coordination and cooperation with central agencies. According to reports, Pindi is a close associate of foreign terrorists Harvinder Singh alias Rinda and Happy Pasia. He has been involved in several serious crimes, including petrol bomb attacks, violent incidents, and extortion in the Batala-Gurdaspur area. Based on a Red Corner Notice issued by the Batala Police, a four-member team led by a senior officer, in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs and UAE authorities, completed all legal formalities and extradited him to India on September 29th.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav shared the information on social media, stating that the Punjab Police thanks the Central Government, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the UAE authorities for their instrumental role in this effort to strengthen justice and national security.
