Unafraid thieves have created terror in the district. Meanwhile, an attempted theft has been reported. Last night, thieves attempted to remove the submersible board from the Shri Ramsta Private Limited firm located on Pakhowal Road, Thakur Colony, by cutting the cable wire. The thieves fled the scene due to the lights being on and the commotion around them. Fortunately, no major damage was caused. When the station in-charge was contacted regarding this matter, he said, “We are short on staff. If we had adequate staff, action would be easier. The station has only 3 to 4 employees, who have to monitor other areas.” Locals say that incidents have occurred in Thakur Colony several times before, but the colonizers and dealers are running the colony at a mere will. Consequently, thefts continue to occur in the area.
