Sensitivity spread inside the DIG’s residence on Rani Jhansi Road when a police officer was shot under suspicious circumstances. He died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Tirth Singh.
Upon receiving information, police from Division No. 8 Police Station arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and placed it in the Civil Hospital mortuary. Police officials are currently unclear whether this is a case of suicide or an accidental gunshot. All aspects of the investigation are being examined.
