The postmortem of Haryana Police IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar has begun at PGI, Chandigarh. According to reports, a special board of doctors, including forensic and ballistics experts, is conducting the procedure. The entire postmortem process is being videotaped.
Following the family’s consent, family members are also present at the scene. According to sources, IPS officer Puran Kumar’s funeral will be held around 4 pm today. The recent suicide of IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar created a stir within the Haryana Police. Shortly thereafter, ASI Sandeep Lathar also committed suicide in Rohtak, further complicating the matter.
Before his suicide, Sandeep Lathar released a video making serious allegations against IPS officer Puran Kumar and his IAS wife, Amneet Kumar. The release of this video has created a stir within the police department and further complicated the investigation. Sources say the video could cause further trouble for Y. Pooran Kumar’s family, while the police department has launched a joint investigation into both incidents.
