Auto market buzzes ahead of festive season, know how much sales increased Industry body SIAM said on Wednesday that wholesale sales of passenger vehicles in September increased to 3,72,458 units on year-on-year basis.

Major auto companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors recorded good sales.

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) said in a statement that total supply (delivery) of passenger vehicles last month increased by 4.4 per cent to 3,72,458 units as against 3,56,752 units in September 2024. According to the data, sales of two-wheelers in September increased by 7 per cent to 21,60,889 units as against 20,25,993 units in September 2024.
