Another veteran Kabaddi player from Punjab, Bittu Baliyal, has suddenly passed away. According to reports, Bittu Baliyal was a resident of Baliyal village in Bhawanigarh, Sangrur district. Bittu had gone to play a Kabaddi tournament in Rupahheri village of Fatehgarh Sahib, and after returning from there, he suffered a heart attack and died. Bittu’s teammates said that doctors had warned him against playing due to his health condition, specifically related to performing stunts.
However, due to the lack of any other source of income, Bittu Baliyal was forced to continue playing, which ultimately led to his heart attack and death. His teammates said that besides Bittu, his family consists of his wife and sister. Bittu’s parents and brother had also passed away earlier.
