Gold and silver prices continued to rise today, Tuesday. According to the Jalandhar Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹127,700 on Monday, while the previous price was ₹124,800. 22-carat gold is currently priced at ₹118,760, compared to ₹116,060 on Monday. As for silver, 23k silver is priced at ₹124,510 today.
It is worth noting that gold, which is becoming increasingly unaffordable for common people, has reached a new record level today. On the MCX, the price of 10 grams of gold has crossed ₹1,25,000. At the time of writing, gold was trading at ₹1,25,120. Silver has also seen a 1.01 percent increase, reaching ₹1,55,250 per kg.
On Monday, in the bullion market of the national capital, the price of gold increased by ₹1,300 to ₹1,25,900 per 10 grams. The All India Bullion Association provided this information. The price of 99.5 percent pure gold increased by ₹1,300 to ₹1,25,300 per 10 grams (including all taxes) compared to Friday’s price of ₹1,24,000 per 10 grams. In the local bullion market, 99.9 percent pure gold closed at ₹1,24,600 per 10 grams in the previous trading session.
