Punjab: Another video of absconding AAP MLA goes viral, constituency in-charge targeted

Date:

Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, the Aam Aadmi Party MLA absconding in a rape case in Punjab’s Patiala district, has shared a new video. In the video, he targeted his constituency in-charge, Ranjodh Singh Handhana, without naming him, and leveled several allegations. Pathanmajra stated in the video that the projects being inaugurated for the Sanaur constituency had already been approved, and anyone claiming responsibility for them is wrong.

In the video, Pathanmajra said, “The work Ranjodh Singh is doing has already been approved. My advice is not to waste time; use your strength to bring new work.” He then emphasized that all this is the result of his work, and that he was the one who got these projects approved.

Pathanmajra said that he wanted to appeal to the people of Sanaur constituency that the inaugurations taking place are the result of his hard work, but now some people are taking credit for it. He said, “These days, people are happy to claim my work as their own. These inaugurations of roads and stadiums are the result of my hard work.”

It is worth noting that a rape case was registered against Pathanmajra on September 2nd. Police made several attempts to arrest him, but Pathanmajra escaped by hiding with relatives in Haryana. He has been making statements regarding his arrest on social media, including Facebook and Instagram, but the police have yet to find any trace of him.

Pathanmajra has appeared live on several YouTube channels and social media platforms to present his side of the story. In the videos, he repeatedly proclaims his innocence and accuses his opponents. He also stated that he himself will praise his work, even though the work he is currently doing has already been approved by them. The matter has now escalated into a political firestorm. While Pathanmajra is claiming credit for his plans and actions, his allegations are likely to further fuel the controversy within the party. Furthermore, his absconding has raised questions about the police and judicial process.
