According to reports, the fire broke out around 9 p.m. and quickly escalated.
According to the shop owner, he immediately called the fire department several times, but it took approximately 40 to 45 minutes for fire engines to arrive, causing the fire to spread further. Several fire engines later arrived, and after approximately two and a quarter hours of hard work, the fire was brought under control.
The owner stated that a short circuit is initially suspected to be the cause of the fire. He also stated that the electricity department was recently carrying out electrical wiring replacement work in the area, which he suspects may have contributed to the accident.
