Amidst the growing tension and protests at Punjab University (PU), the administration has taken a major decision and postponed all examinations scheduled for November 26th. This step was taken in view of the intense unrest and security concerns that have been ongoing on campus for the past several days.
According to sources, the university administration has clarified that it is not possible to conduct examinations without normalizing the situation. Consequently, the shifted paper scheduled for DAV College has also been postponed. The administration has stated that a new datesheet will be released soon to help students overcome the confusion.
It is noteworthy that a call for a shutdown has been given in universities across Punjab on November 26th. Due to the protests by students and various organizations, pressure was continuously increasing on the PU campus. Consequently, the administration was forced to postpone the exams.
