Police have successfully arrested a member of the gangster Bambiha gang with illegal weapons. Police recovered three pistols and three live cartridges from the arrested suspect. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to carrying out two recent shootings in the village of Bada Guda in Haryana’s Sirsa district. Rambaksh Singh alias Bakshi, a member of the gangster Davinder Bambiha gang, has six cases registered against him, including three in Sirsa, in which he remains a fugitive.
SP Manmohan Singh Aulakh stated that various police teams, led by DSP Mansa Amritpal Singh Bhati and Budhlada DSP Sikander Singh, along with City Budhlada Police Station in-charge Kanwaldeep Singh, had been formed to check suspicious individuals and locations in the city. On the basis of a tip-off, ASI Sukhjeet Singh of Budhlada police station arrested Rambaksh Singh alias Bakshi, a resident of village Sukhchain in Sirsa district of Haryana, during a blockade near Holy Heart School and recovered two pistols of 32 bore along with two live cartridges of 32 bore, one country made pistol of 315 bore and one live cartridge of 315 bore from his possession and a case was registered against him under the Arms Act at City Police Station Budhlada.
