The Jalandhar Sarafa Association released new rates on Friday, placing the price of 24-carat gold at ₹129,800, compared to ₹129,000 recorded on Thursday. 22-carat gold is currently priced at ₹120,710. Silver prices are currently trading at ₹126,560.
Meanwhile, futures trading is seeing another uptrend today (November 28). Both gold and silver futures opened with gains on Friday, the last trading day of the week. At the time of writing, gold futures prices in the domestic market were trading at ₹126,062, up 0.44%, while silver prices rose 0.91%, trading around ₹163,949.
The price of gold fell by Rs 640 to Rs 1,29,460 per 10 grams in the national capital’s bullion market on Thursday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. However, the price of silver rose by Rs 5,100 to Rs 1,68,200 per kilogram. According to the Sarafa Association, the price of gold of 99.5 percent purity fell by Rs 640 to Rs 1,28,860 per 10 grams (including all taxes).
