Delhi Police’s Special Cell arrested gangster Bandhu Maan Sekhon from a gym in Ludhiana, facing charges of extortion, including the shooting at famous comedian Kapil Sharma’s Capes Cafe. On November 25th, the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, with the assistance of Ludhiana Police, initially raided the village of Javdi in search of Bandhu Maan. Later, he was arrested in a car outside a gym and a Jigyasa pistol, 2 lakh rupees in cash, and other items were recovered from his possession.
Bandhu Maan, who had fled to Canada a few years ago under a false identity, was the main handler of the notorious gangster Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gang, which operated an organized crime syndicate from India to Canada. He played a key role in the shooting at famous comedian Kapil Sharma’s Capes Cafe in Surrey, Canada, and Canadian police were also searching for him. During this time, police recovered the vehicle used in the shooting. Before the police could reach Bandhu Maan, he quietly left Canada and came to India. Upon receiving information about this, the Delhi Police started searching for him and finally arrested him from Ludhiana on November 25.
Following the arrest of Bandhu Maan, a close associate of the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gangs involved in several major crimes, including the murder of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and Baba Sadique, who were earlier with Lawrence Bishnoi and are now running their own gang, the Delhi Police has started rigorous interrogation. After his arrest, important information is sure to come to light regarding major incidents like Kapil Sharma Cafe, firing at Salman Khan’s house and other cases.
