Last night, a young man was found dead due to a gunshot from a licensed revolver. Giving information in this regard, Inspector Varun Kumar, in-charge of City Police Station Moga, said that Jhirmil Singh, son of Baldev Singh, worked in a milk dairy.
He was returning home from a wedding function when he suddenly pulled out the chamber of the revolver and pulled the trigger, due to which he was shot. He was immediately brought to Civil Hospital Moga, where doctors declared him dead. The police officer said that on the basis of the statements of the deceased’s family, they took action under Section 194 BNS and after getting the post-mortem done at Civil Hospital Moga, the body was handed over to the family members.
