With the end of November and the arrival of December, cold has begun to take hold in Guru Nanak City. According to the weather department’s forecast, temperatures will drop further in the coming 7 to 10 days. While the maximum daytime temperature will remain around 20-22 degrees Celsius, the night temperature is expected to drop by 6-7 degrees. The chill at night and in the morning will be more intense than usual.

The city recorded a maximum temperature of around 23 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 6 degrees. The day was sunny, with light clouds and cold winds blowing. According to weather experts, nights will continue to get colder, increasing the need for warm clothing in early December. The sky is expected to remain mostly clear, although light fog and cold winds may occur in the morning and evening. Due to the changing weather, medical experts have advised the elderly and children to take special precautions. It is important to wear warm clothing when going out in the morning and evening. The temperature provides some relief during the sunshine, but as soon as the sun sets, the cold returns.

Take care of yourself in the changing weather
Minimum temperatures may drop further in the coming days. The beginning of December is expected to be colder than usual for Amritsar. Therefore, take care of yourself in this changing weather by wearing warm clothing in the morning and evening, basking in the sun for a while when the sun comes out, taking special care of children and the elderly at night, and using hats, mufflers, and jackets to protect yourself from the cold winds.
