A tragic incident has come to light involving the death of a Sub-Inspector of the Punjab Police. According to reports, Sub-Inspector Chatwinder Singh—who was posted at the Mahilpur Police Station—lost his life in a collision between a mini-truck (canter) and a motorcycle near the village of Dansiwal on the Garhshankar-Hoshiarpur road.
As per the information received, Sub-Inspector Chatwinder Singh was traveling from Garhshankar to Mahilpur on his motorcycle. Upon reaching the village of Dansiwal, he was involved in a head-on collision with a mini-truck approaching from the opposite direction, resulting in his death on the spot. Police personnel from the Mahilpur Police Station arrived at the scene, took custody of the vehicles and the body, and have initiated further legal proceedings.
