Reports have emerged regarding an incident on the Hajipur-Talwara main road, near the cremation ground, where a sand-laden tipper truck went out of control and overturned along the roadside. The driver of the tipper sustained serious injuries in this accident. According to the information received, the tipper—which was loaded with sand—was traveling from Talwara towards Hajipur. As the vehicle reached a point just a short distance from the Hajipur cremation ground, it suddenly lost control and flipped over on the side of the road. As a result of the overturning, the driver—identified as Sukhdeep Singh, a resident of Kotkapura (District Faridkot)—sustained injuries. With the assistance of passersby and local residents, the injured driver was immediately admitted to the Government Hospital in Hajipur for medical treatment.
