A case of fraud has come to light involving a family that harbored dreams of settling abroad and securing a bright future. Currently, the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter and have registered a case against the accused individuals: Amandeep Kaur, Jasvir Singh, Balvir Singh, and Gurvinder Singh.
**Marriage Took Place on February 10**
According to reports, the marriage of Jarnail Singh’s son, Man Singh—who holds Permanent Resident (PR) status in Canada—was solemnized with great pomp and ceremony on February 10 with Amandeep Kaur. Shortly after the wedding, Man Singh took his wife, Amandeep Kaur, to Canada with the promise of a bright future. It is alleged that upon reaching Canada and completing the necessary legal formalities (to secure her status), Amandeep Kaur’s demeanor changed completely.
**Allegations of Fraud Committed Under the Guise of Marriage**
The complaint states that as soon as Amandeep Kaur obtained residency status there, she abandoned her husband, Man Singh, and moved to an undisclosed location without informing him. The aggrieved father, Jarnail Singh, has sought justice in the complaint submitted to the police authorities. He asserts that his son was deceived under the pretext of marriage and was merely used as a means for her to gain entry into a foreign country.
