The Himachal government MLA has made serious allegations against Punjab. The Congress MLA has described Punjab as a state dealing in drugs. Congress MLA Chandrashekhar Thakur from Assembly constituency Dharampur in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh says that drug abuse is flourishing in Punjab. Drugs are also being supplied to Himachal from Punjab. This is the reason why the youth of Himachal are also falling prey to drugs.
Chandrashekhar says that Punjab is directly responsible for the increasing trend of drug abuse among the youth of Himachal. Because drugs are being sold in large quantities in the neighboring state of Punjab. Drugs are also being supplied to Himachal from Punjab. Synthetic drugs are prepared in Himachal
Neel Garg said that the statement given by the Himachal MLA is absurd, baseless and has been given to defame Punjab. Neel Garg said that synthetic drugs are prepared in Himachal. We have been raising this voice earlier as well. Synthetic drugs prepared in Himachal are also being supplied in Punjab. There are many picnic spots in Himachal where synthetic drugs are taken openly. Among these, Dharamshala, McLeodganj and Kasol are also such places where synthetic drugs are taken openly.
Drugs coming to Punjab from other states
Neel Garg said that efforts are being made to defame Punjab, we condemn this. Punjab is the state which has been ruined by drugs. Because more drugs are supplied to Punjab from other states, in which drugs come from Himachal as well as Haryana, UP, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and International Border. Because of this, the entire youth of Punjab has been ruined by drugs. Therefore, Punjab should not be defamed by making such statements. Neel Garg said that if you are not able to manage your own house, your police is failing to stop drug abuse, then others should not be defamed in this.
Punjab Congress leaders were also targeted
Neel Garg also targeted Punjab Congress leaders on the statement of Himachal Congress MLA. Neel Garg said that I want to ask Punjab Congress chief Raja Warring and senior leader Pratap Bajwa that if Himachal Congress MLA is defaming Punjab today, then why are you silent. What is your opinion, do you also agree with their words? Will you stand with Punjab today and condemn this statement? Or will you praise the words of Himachal MLA?
