Bollywood actor Sonu Sood appeared in Ludhiana court through video conferencing. Where he gave his testimony in the fraud case of a multi-level marketing company. Regarding this, the order will be issued by the court in the afternoon.
Let us tell you that the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) Ramanpreet Kaur of Ludhiana had issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Sonu Sood on January 29. The court had ordered the SHO of Oshiwara police station of Mumbai Andheri West to arrest Sonu and present him in the court.
Actually, a fraud case has been registered against a multi-level marketing company in Ludhiana. This company had made Sonu Sood its brand ambassador. The court had sent summons to Sonu Sood for testimony but he did not appear. Sonu Sood is originally from Moga, Punjab. However, now he lives in Mumbai.
Earlier, an FIR has been registered against Bollywood stars Shreyas Talpade and Aloknath in Sonipat, Haryana. In which Sonu Sood’s name also came that he had come as the chief guest of the company. However, Sonu Sood’s name was not among the accused in the FIR.

Ludhiana lawyer Rajesh Khanna told that in November 2021, he met a person named Mohit Shukla. Who told that he works in a multilevel marketing company named ‘Rikeja Coin’. Mohit had called him to meet at Hotel Radisson Blu on Ferozepur Road in Punjab.
Here he told him about the work of his company. He told that under a scheme of the company, on investing 8 thousand rupees, 24 thousand rupees are received after 10 months.
2. Invested 10 lakh rupees, did not give money when the time was over
According to the lawyer, Shukla said that at least 100 dollars and maximum 5000 dollars can be invested in one ID of the company. The accused made him invest $12,500 through different IDs on the basis of false assurances. This amount is Rs 10 lakh in Indian currency.
Rajesh told that when the time was over, he asked Shukla for three times the amount. On this, he started procrastinating. When he investigated about him, he came to know that he has done similar fraud with other people as well. The accused has connections with the police and politicians in Delhi.

After the arrest warrant, Sonu Sood clarified through his official social media handle and wrote, “We need to clarify that the news coming on social media platforms is very sensational. To be clear, the Hon’ble Court has called us as a witness in a third party related case, which we have nothing to do with.
Our lawyers have responded to that summons and I will record my statement on February 10, in which I will make it clear that I have no connection with this matter.
Neither are we its brand ambassadors nor are we associated with it in any other way. All this is being done only to attract media attention and people’s attention. It is very sad that celebs become soft targets.”

On January 23 this year, an FIR was registered against Bollywood actors Shreyas Talpade and Aloknath in Sonipat, Haryana.
