The party’s focus is on strengthening the organization

The executive is being formed keeping in mind the municipal elections to be held next year. The new team will be responsible for preparing the ground for victory in the party elections. The municipal elections to be held at the end of next year are very important for BJP as well as Congress and Aam Aadmi Party.

The party’s performance was not good in the last municipal elections, at that time it won only 12 seats out of 35. The party also lost the last Lok Sabha elections by a very small margin to the Congress-AAP alliance, so now the party’s entire focus is on strengthening the organization.

Therefore, a lot of thought is being given to the officials who are being selected in the executive. State BJP President Jatinder Pal Malhotra will form the new executive with the consent of National President JP Nadda.

Every faction wants to increase its dominance

On January 14 this year, Jitendra Malhotra has again been given the responsibility of state president. There is a lot of factionalism among the senior leaders of BJP. Every faction wants to increase its dominance by including its supporting leaders in the executive.

At present, there is a faction of Sanjay Tandon, former president Arun Sood, former MP Kiran Kher and Satyapal Jain in the party. With the increasing activism of Rajya Sabha member Satnam Sandhu, many leaders and workers are joining him. Earlier, former MP Satyapal Jain, Sanjay Tandon and Arun Sood did not get a place in the advisory council formed by the administration.

After the announcement of the executive, factionalism is expected to increase. At present, despite the BJP’s mayor being elected in the municipal corporation, the administration is not ready to give additional funds, due to which the opposition as well as BJP councilors are raising questions on the administration’s performance.
