The State Special Operations Cell has arrested three terrorists in Mohali, Punjab. All three are said to be associates of ISI terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda. All three are involved in a murder case in Nanded, Maharashtra. Police have recovered a pump action gun and a pistol from their possession. They have been arrested on the basis of information received from their earlier arrested associates.
Jagran Correspondent, Mohali. The State Special Operations Cell has arrested three terrorists. All three are said to be associates of ISI terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda. All three are involved in a murder case in Nanded, Maharashtra.
Police had earlier arrested three of his associates. These three have been arrested after interrogating them. The arrested accused have been identified as Jagjit Singh alias Jaggi resident of Maharashtra, Shubham resident of Maharashtra, Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa resident of Nurpur Bedi Punjab.
Police have recovered a pump action gun and a pistol from their possession. The police team will present them in Mohali court today. According to information received from sources, the police team will demand five days remand for interrogation.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has given information related to their arrest on his internet media platform X. Gaurav Yadav has said that the State Special Operation Cell Mohali has busted a big module of the network of Pakistan’s Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda.
They have arrested three of his terrorists. Jagjit alias Jaggi had provided money, accommodation and other facilities for the shooters involved in a murder in Nanded on February 10. Its conspiracy was hatched from Pakistan.
Dilpreet Baba’s role came to the fore
Even before the three terrorists were caught, their three associates have been arrested. It was during interrogation of them that the police got clues about these three. The police have also come to know that gangster Dilpreet alias Baba was also involved in this murder. He is an old associate of Rinda.
He had asked his people to stay in Punjab and provided them money. Punjab Police has carried out this operation in collaboration with the police of many states.
Drug consignment recovered in Gurdaspur
Meanwhile, in Gurdaspur, under the ‘War against Drugs’ campaign being run by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Gurdaspur Police and BSF have got a big success during a joint operation. Police and BSF jawans have recovered a huge consignment of drugs and weapons sent through drones from across the border and seized 2 kg heroin, 2 pistols, 4 magazines and 66 live cartridges.
