From luxurious bungalows to owners of luxury cars, from AC to other modern facilities in the house, yet below the poverty line (BPL) in government records. Those who take advantage of government schemes by proving themselves to be poor have come to an end.
The administration excluded 215 families from the BPL list
When the administration did physical verification till March 31 on the orders of the government, the reality came to the fore. First of all, the administration excluded 215 such families from the BPL list. Also, by the fixed deadline of April 20, such people will have to apply to get their names removed from the BPL list.
After this, the administration will once again conduct physical verification and if someone is found taking advantage of BPL in an incorrect manner, an FIR will be registered against him, as well as he will have to stay behind bars in jail for two years. The financial year 2025-26 can put those who take advantage of the BPL scheme in the wrong way in trouble.
