Gursher Sandhu has filed a petition in the High Court claiming that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi (Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi Interview) was never in his custody, but he was taken into custody by the Anti Gangster Task Force from the very first day.
Despite this, he was dismissed without any concrete reason. He has asked the court to hear his side and demand protection for the family.
The court refused to give relief
In the hearing held on Thursday, the High Court refused to give any relief to Sandhu at the moment. The court said that since he has already filed a petition in the Supreme Court, the High Court cannot hear it.
What is the whole matter?
In fact, the interview of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was released in March 2023. This entire interview took place through video conference and was also telecast on a private channel. At that time Lawrence was in the custody of CIA, Kharar and DSP Gursher Singh was investigating the case. Lawrence Bishnoi also played an important role in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in the year 2022. In this case, Punjab Police brought Lawrence from Tihar Jail on transit remand for investigation. When Lawrence’s interview was broadcast, the High Court constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to take action against the guilty officers. Earlier action was being taken against the lower officials in this case. But the High Court reprimanded the Punjab government and asked why the lower officials were being made scapegoats. After which information about the dismissal of DSP Gursher Singh came to light.
