Haryana Police has issued an alert regarding this. The Lok Sabha administration has warned the common citizens not to open any such link. Complaints are also reaching the police regarding this.
The police and administration have also sent their recorded messages to the people in this regard, so that on such occasions, the tricks of cyber thugs can be avoided.
Fear of attack on website and computer infrastructure
Links are being sent to the mobile phones of common people from unknown numbers and different platforms of social media. If sources are to be believed, a campaign has been run regarding cyber attack and false news. This can also be a plan to attack Indian websites and computer infrastructure. Regarding which Haryana Police is busy preparing a framework to avoid every type of cyber attack.
The police and administration have also advised the general public to avoid forwarding or opening any such link. It has also been cautioned that only the information sent from the official room should be shared.
Sending phishing links and asking for donations, WhatsApp groups created
Cyber criminals are using this time of disaster as an opportunity to ask for donations in the name of the army. Groups are also being created by cyber criminals for this. Such messages are being sent on WhatsApp and Facebook. There is even a demand to donate money in the name of the army.
In such a situation, the police and administration have cautioned that the general public should not send money in the name of any welfare without any official information. Because this could be a trick of cyber criminals.
