Haryana is in high alert mode due to tension on the Indo-Pak border. The Deputy Government has issued orders to the officers and employees not to leave the headquarters. Educational institutions in Panchkula have been closed for two days. After the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor, firing is being done from Pakistan’s side. In view of Pakistan’s nefarious act, an alert has been issued in Haryana and the capital Chandigarh.
Police patrolling has been intensified in the districts of the state bordering Punjab. The government has directed all the District Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police to hold meetings with peace committees, public representatives, social organizations and other residential organizations formed in the districts. In many districts of the state, SP and DC also organized meetings with various organizations on Friday.

The government has already canceled the leaves of the health department, police department and fire personnel in the war-like situation. Now strict instructions have been issued by the Chief Secretary that officers and employees of various departments, boards, corporations, undertakings and universities etc. should establish their headquarters or station within the state. No employee should leave his headquarters or station till further orders.

The Chief Secretary on Friday directed the District Deputy Commissioners to inform the State Control Room about every situation. Moment to moment reports will be given. Negligence will not be tolerated under any circumstances. In view of the emergency, compliance of the rules of blackout will be ensured.
Switch off the lights of the display boards of the shopsThe state government has instructed the market associations to keep the lights of the display boards of their respective establishments off. Do not leave any light of your establishments on. Those who have CCTV cameras installed should switch off their CCTV cameras before leaving. Switching off the cameras will make the blackout more effective. Lights of the common parking area should also be kept off. Along with this, instructions have been issued to switch off all electrical equipment at night in government headquarters and offices.
