Taking strict action to ensure compliance of traffic rules, the Zira Traffic Police, led by Traffic Wing In-charge ASI Balour Singh, blocked the Zira-Ferozepur road and issued challans to more than 30 two-wheeler and four-wheeler drivers. Talking to the media on this occasion, Traffic In-charge Balour Singh said that some drivers were let off with a warning, while many drivers violating traffic rules, including vehicles without number plates, vehicles with black film or net installed and vehicles with incomplete documents, were thoroughly checked and challans were issued on the spot.
During this, Traffic In-charge Balour Singh said that most accidents occur due to non-compliance of traffic rules. Therefore, traffic rules are always followed for the safety of drivers, but whoever violates traffic rules, strict action will be taken against him along with challan. On this occasion, Traffic Branch Jira in-charge Balour Singh, Harpinderjit Singh ASI, Rajinder Singh ASI, Gurbhej Singh ASI and other employees were present.
