According to the India Meteorological Center, rain is expected in more than half of the districts of the state today. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in Mohali, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Hoshiarpur, and Pathankot. Yellow alert has been issued in these districts.
Similarly, the department has predicted rain in the entire state in the coming days. However, no alert has been issued in the state for the next 2-3 days. At the same time, the speed of rain will increase on August 14 and 15. This is also likely to bring down the temperature, which can give relief to the people from the heat.
