After two days of good rain, Monday was a clear day. Light clouds appeared in the open sky after 10 am but the sun came out after some time. Umbrellas that are opened during rainy days came in handy to avoid the sun on Monday. However, despite the sun coming out, the pleasant weather due to the rain in the past few days kept the heat and humidity away throughout the day.
The amount of moisture in the bright sunshine during the day was up to 91 percent but the continuous winds did not let the humidity be felt. The humidity did not bother much even in the evening. The temperature did not go above 33.5 degrees throughout the day. There is no major change in the weather in the coming days, but after 23 and 24 August, due to the monsoon becoming active in North India, good spells of rain may come in Chandigarh as well.
