Keeping in view the safety of the students, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal has declared a holiday in all the colleges of Jalandhar district today, September 1 (Monday). It is worth mentioning that keeping in mind the heavy rains, holidays have already been declared in schools till September 3. After the new orders, colleges will also remain closed. The administration says that the situation is being monitored and safety is being given priority.
