The in-laws sent the daughter-in-law to Canada by paying a fee of Rs. 29 lakh 89 thousand 793 and the daughter-in-law called her husband on a 4-month work visa and got him caught by the Canadian police. On the basis of the application given by the boy’s father regarding this incident, the police of City Police Station Ferozepur has registered a case of fraud against the daughter-in-law and her parents under different sections.
ASI Bhupinder Singh said that the complainant Jagtar Singh son of Joginder Singh resident of Jeera Gate Ferozepur city has alleged in a written application given to the police officers that his daughter-in-law Davinder Kaur resident of village Toot and her mother Paramjit Kaur and father Makhan Singh had transferred all the expenses of Davinder Kaur’s foreign studies to the account of Davinder Kaur’s parents while making a relationship with the complainant’s son Manpreet Singh.
The girl Davinder Kaur went to Canada and called the complainant’s son to Canada on a 4-month work visa and got him arrested by the Canadian police as part of a conspiracy and cheated him by sending a separation notice divorce against him.
According to the complainant, Davinder Kaur cheated him by presenting a fake degree of B.Sc. Non-Medical from Deshbhakti University Mandi Gobindgarh in the year 2017 while applying for a study visa. ASI Bhupendra Singh said that the police have registered a case against the girl and her parents and further action is being taken against them.
