A major crime has been reported in Patiala. Last night, an employee of Koli Dhaba, located opposite Lower Mall and Hollow Ground in the city, was brutally murdered with sharp weapons. Upon receiving information about the incident, SHO Jaspreet Singh Kahlo of Kotwali Police Station and SHO Gurpinder Singh of Sabzi Mandi Police Station, along with a police team, reached the spot.
They took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination. According to the information received, the dispute arose over a bill, and the attackers assaulted the victim with sharp weapons and fled the scene. The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
