The trend of young men and women making reels in the middle of the road continues to rise. One such incident has emerged from Ludhiana district, where young individuals are being filmed modeling and dancing while standing on an elevated flyover. In one video, a young woman dressed in Western attire is seen dancing to a Punjabi song on the flyover. Both videos are rapidly going viral.
The young woman (model) posted her reel on Instagram and challenged viewers to identify the name of the city. According to reports, this post dates back to about five days ago. As soon as the video went viral, the police announced that they would initiate an investigation. Meanwhile, public reactions to the incident have also surfaced. People are commenting that these individuals are risking their lives merely for the sake of a few ‘Likes.’ Prior to this, another video of the same young woman had gone viral, in which she was seen smoking a hookah on her Instagram account.
**The Two Videos Going Viral**
In one of the recently viral videos, the young woman—dressed in Western wear—is seen striking poses to the Punjabi song, “Hay Police Remand Le Laijugi, Tainu Ghanta Lagna Half Na…” This video has garnered 4,984 likes and 273,000 views on her Instagram account. Additionally, a second video was filmed on the elevated flyover located directly in front of the Nagpal Regency on Ferozepur Road. In this clip, the young woman is seen posing to the Punjabi song, “Langya Na Kar Billo Chhadyan Di Gali…” This video has received 6,149 likes and 621,000 views. The young woman currently has 130,000 followers on Instagram, and her bio reads: “Don’t be a woman who needs a man… be a woman a man needs.”
**What the Police Said**
Commenting on the entire incident, ACP Guraikbal Singh stated that creating such reels on highways or flyovers is an improper and wrongful act. Young men and women creating reels in this manner are endangering both their own lives and the lives of others. He stated that the viral video in question would be investigated, following which the young woman involved would also be counseled.
