An incident involving a fire at a private hotel in Kapurthala has been reported. According to reports, the fire suddenly broke out in the hotel’s kitchen and spread rapidly. Within a short time, the flames reached other floors of the hotel, causing panic and chaos at the scene. However, the situation was brought under control in the nick of time.

The hotel staff immediately initiated relief operations, with approximately 20–25 employees working together to attempt to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, three fire tenders arrived at the scene and successfully brought the blaze under control. The exact cause of the fire remains unclear, though preliminary assessments suggest it may have been caused by a short circuit.
