New prices for gold and silver were released on Monday. According to the Jalandhar Bullion Association, 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹156,000, while 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹145,080. As for silver, prices have reached ₹252,800.

On Comex, gold opened today at a rate of $4,713.20 per ounce. The previous closing price was $4,740.90 per ounce. At the time of writing, it was trading at $4,739.20 per ounce, marking a decline of $1.70. Silver futures on Comex opened at a rate of $75.50. The previous closing price was $76.41. At the time of writing, it was trading at $75.45 per ounce, showing a rise of $0.04.
