Following the announcement of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) program for the state of Punjab by the Election Commission of India (New Delhi), preparations are actively underway at the office of the District Election Officer.
Acting under the directives of District Election Officer Navjot Kaur, Election Tehsildar Bhushan Kumar stated that from June 25 to July 24, 2026, enumeration forms will be filled out and necessary information collected by Booth Level Officers (BLOs). The Election Tehsildar urged all eligible voters to provide the requisite information and documents to their respective BLOs.
He further explained that the filled enumeration forms would consist of two copies. One copy must be self-attested and submitted to the BLO. Voters whose names do not appear in the 2003 voter list are required to submit one of the 11 documents authorized by the Election Commission of India.
