State Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema strongly criticized the BJP-led central government over the ₹29 hike in the price of domestic gas cylinders.
He stated that the lives of common people are becoming increasingly difficult day by day due to the continuous rise in the prices of fuel and essential commodities. Poor and middle-class families are already reeling under the burden of inflation.
The latest hike in cooking gas prices has further compounded these hardships. Demanding an immediate rollback of the LPG price hike, Cheema urged the central government to take concrete steps to curb inflation instead of raising prices.
