The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made a significant claim regarding a purported video of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Describing the video as part of a major conspiracy hatched against the *Panth* (Sikh community), the party stated that the video is entirely fake; the person appearing in it is not Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann but an actor who resembles him.
Addressing a press conference, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema stated that certain anti-*Panth* forces are making a concerted effort to disturb the atmosphere in Punjab and incite religious sentiments. He asserted that this conspiracy was orchestrated to tarnish the Chief Minister’s image.
What did Harpal Singh Cheema claim?
Harpal Singh Cheema claimed that the government had the video technically analyzed from 1,191 angles by two laboratories located outside Punjab. The investigation revealed that the individual in the video is not Bhagwant Mann, but an actor who looks like him. Cheema stated that attempts were made to mislead the public through editing and modern technology. He added that those conspiring against the *Panth* would not be spared at any cost. Everyone involved in this malicious conspiracy would be brought to justice, regardless of where in the world they might be hiding.
Baltej Pannu stated that those spreading lies and confusion via social media are being identified. He clarified that the Mann government would take strict action against anti-*Panth* forces and thwart every attempt to disrupt peace and communal harmony in Punjab.
