Upon receiving information about the incident, Civil Lines Station House Officer (SHO) Gurpreet Singh arrived at the scene with a police team. The police inspected the site and began examining footage from nearby CCTV cameras. Evidence recovered from the scene has been seized, and the investigation is proceeding.
Police Arrest the Accused
Preliminary investigations revealed a long-standing dispute over a financial matter between the deceased and the accused. Police suspect that this dispute was the motive behind the attack. However, investigating officers are examining all aspects of the case.
