In a tragic road accident on the Patiala-Fatehgarh Sahib bypass, a speeding sand-laden tipper truck ran over a motorcyclist, killing him instantly. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Rajveer Singh, a resident of Bagrian in Fatehgarh Sahib district. Rajveer Singh had visited the grain market for work-related reasons when the accident occurred.
Investigating Officer ASI Vivek Sharma stated that the police have registered a case against the tipper driver, who fled the scene after the accident. According to the police, the vehicle was loaded with sand. Further proceedings are underway, and a post-mortem examination of the body will be conducted. Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has demanded justice and strict action against the driver responsible for the accident.
