A major incident has been reported from Jamsher village in Lohian Khas, Jalandhar. A clash between two groups in the village turned violent, resulting in the death of a man who sustained a head injury. The deceased has been identified as Shingara Singh (45).
According to the deceased’s family and eyewitnesses, Shingara Singh had stepped out of his house to protect his son, Jashanpreet Singh (18), from a sudden attack. During the altercation, the assailants attacked Shingara Singh, and he died on the spot due to his injuries. Lohian SHO Rajinder Khaira stated that the body has been taken into custody and a search for the attackers is underway.
