Two candidates have filed their nominations for the MLC seats representing the Tirhut Graduate and Teachers’ constituencies in the Bihar Legislative Council elections.
The nomination process took place at the Commissioner’s office complex. Narendra Prasad Singh, the NDA-backed candidate, filed his papers for the Teachers’ constituency, while independent candidate Banshidhar Brajvasi filed his nomination for the Graduate constituency.
**Presence of Prominent Leaders**
Bihar’s Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari and Revenue Minister Dilip Jaiswal arrived in Muzaffarpur to support the NDA candidate.
The leaders addressed a public meeting near the Commissioner’s office complex, urging the electorate to ensure a resounding victory for the NDA candidate.
**Large Turnout at the Meeting**
A large number of leaders and workers from the BJP and NDA alliance partners attended the public meeting held after the nomination filing. Party workers accorded a grand welcome to the ministers and the candidate by garlanding them. The meeting highlighted NDA unity and expressed confidence in a victory.
**Independent Candidate’s Claim**
Meanwhile, independent candidate Banshidhar Brajvasi was also accompanied by a large number of supporters. Speaking to the media, Brajvasi stated that he would live up to the trust placed in him by the voters. He expressed confidence that he would secure a massive victory in the Graduate constituency.
