A 15-second video is rapidly going viral on social media. It is reported to be the vehicle of Chandrashekhar, the National President of the Azad Samaj Party and MP from the Nagina Lok Sabha constituency.
Claims regarding the video suggest that the MP is sitting atop the vehicle with the sunroof open, while security personnel are seen hanging off both sides.
The viral video has sparked a variety of comments from the public. It reportedly dates back three days and was filmed near Swahedi village on the Meerut-Pauri National Highway. The video has surfaced at a time when the police administration is conducting awareness campaigns regarding traffic rules.
In this regard, Traffic In-charge Ravi Nain stated that permission is being sought from the competent authority to issue a traffic violation challan (fine) for the breach of rules.
**Raising awareness about traffic rules**
Sherkot: Bijnor Police conducted a checking drive at the Harevali intersection on the National Highway. During the drive, they raised public awareness about traffic rules and informed people about the importance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers. On Wednesday evening, the police carried out a safety-focused campaign at the Harevali intersection. Motorists riding two-wheelers without helmets were stopped and educated on the importance of helmets and adherence to traffic rules. Station House Officer (SHO) Rampratap Singh stated that two-wheeler riders passing through the intersection were advised to wear helmets while driving.
During the campaign, the police distributed helmets to ten riders who were found without them. The police encouraged motorists to follow traffic rules while driving and to regularly use helmets for their own safety.
