After which the temperature remains 2.3 degrees above normal.
According to the Meteorological Department, Amritsar was the coldest city in Punjab on Sunday. Where the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.3 degrees. While according to the temperature on Sunday evening, the highest temperature was in Mohali, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 24.7 degrees. In the last 24 hours, the temperature of Punjab increased by 4.8 degrees, after which the temperature was recorded normal.
Western Disturbance active, chances of rain in 17 districts
Western Disturbance became active on January 18. Its effect is being seen in the hilly areas. There are chances of snowfall and rain on the mountains till January 23. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in the plains on January 22-23. On January 22, the effect of western disturbance will be on Punjab.
After which, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Moga, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Malerkotla, Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, Patiala and SAS Nagar on January 22.
