Amidst the financial crisis, the Punjab government’s treasury has received Rs 2500 crore. The government has not earned this money by taking a loan from any institution or by selling any property, but this money has been received from the IGST reversal process of 7000 firms.
Which was earlier lying with other states due to lack of proper process. Apart from this, the department is also keeping an eye on those companies. Which are involved in tax evasion in some way or the other.
