24 policemen who have done excellent work in Chandigarh will be honored on Republic Day. The police department has released their list. Chief Secretary Rajiv Verma will honor all of them.
There will be a Republic Day function at Sector-17 Parade Ground. The police have made strict security arrangements. There will be strict surveillance at every step. The city and its surroundings will also be monitored by drones. The police will keep an eye on every visitor through high-tech means.
Visitors to the ground will be prohibited without a valid pass and ID card, students will be able to enter only with their school teachers. The police will monitor the ground not only with vehicles but also with horses.
These policemen will be honored
The first name in the list released by the police department is of ORP Inspector Baljit Singh posted in the Communication Police Department, while the second name includes SI Surya Prakash IT Park Police Station, ASI (LR) Indrapreet Kaur PLWC, ASI (LR) Ram Prakash, HC Ashok Kumar EOPS, SI Kiranta Maulijagran Police Station, SI Kartar Singh, L SI Darshan Devi, SI (LR) Veena Kumari, ASI Des Raj Mounted Staff.
Apart from this, ASI (LR) Subhash Sharma RTC, ASI (LR) Lal Bahadur Crime Cell, ASI (LR) Swarn Singh Police Station-39, ASI (LR) Ashok Kumar Police Station- 19 ASI (LR) Om Prakash, HC Satnam Singh SDPO North East Police Department will get medals for commendable services.
Senior Constable Hardeep Singh District Crime Cell, Senior Constable Sandeep Singh Tomar Police Headquarters, Senior Constable Sukhjeet Singh Headquarters, Senior Constable Jeevan Singh EOPS, Senior Constable Amit Sharma Traffic Police, Senior Constable Sombir Police Line, Constable Navdeep Singh Communication and Constable Ravi Kumar will be honoured.
