Now direct flights will be available from Haryana to Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh). This facility will start from the state’s first domestic airport Ambala. Civil Aviation Airport Authority of India (CAAAI) has also agreed to this. A joint meeting of officials of Civil Aviation, Airport Authority of India, Police and other departments was held to discuss starting flights from the airport at Domestic Airport Ambala Cantt. Energy Minister Anil Vij, Civil Aviation Minister Vipul Goyal were also present in this meeting.
In the meeting, Energy, Transport and Labor Minister said that building a domestic airport in Ambala Cantonment was an impossible task, a big struggle has been done to make it possible. Ambala Cantonment is a very old junction, people will get a lot of benefits by building a domestic airport here and the development of the area and employment opportunities will also increase.
Meeting will also be held soon in Chandigarh
Anil Vij said that departmental officials should speed up the process to start air service from the airport and under this work, MoU should be signed soon so that more staff can be deployed here. Before the meeting, Anil Vij also inspected the machinery and other equipment that had arrived at the domestic airport for security purposes. He reviewed the agenda point-wise and gave necessary guidelines for starting the flight service.
The next meeting will also be held in Chandigarh soon to start the flight service from the airport. Before this, Vij inspected the new eye baggage scanner machine and other equipment at the domestic airport.

Vipul Goyal gave time till 28 February
Through video conferencing, Haryana’s Civil Aviation Minister Vipul Goyal instructed the officials to ensure that all the minor works related to the domestic airport are completed by February 28. Under security training, provide training according to the badge and get the necessary guidelines given on the points discussed in the meeting today done on priority. He instructed the officials to start air service from the airport as soon as possible.

Apart from Ayodhya, Lucknow, goods flights will also be operated from the airport to other cities and soon all the work related to the airport will be completed.
