In Haryana, Electricity and Transport Minister Anil Vij, who is angry with CM Naib Saini, had a 2-hour meeting with BJP state in-charge Satish Poonia. After the meeting, Vij said – I will not give any reaction on the meeting. Right now, a full stop has been put on everything. If there is a meeting in future, then it will be known. I have put my point in front of the in-charge. When journalists asked Vij if all is well, Vij said all will be well.
Earlier, CM Naib Saini said for the first time on Anil Vij’s displeasure that he is our senior leader. There is no resentment. We were together in the cabinet meeting. Also held a department meeting.
On the statement given about him, the CM said that it is Vij’s right. He can warn us. Denying that the officers do not listen to the ministers, the CM said that it is not so. Everyone has their own responsibility. All officers listen, they also listen to the MLAs.
Vij was making statements against the CM and the government for 5 consecutive days. Even today he reached the cabinet meeting half an hour late. Even before this, the government also released the video of the cabinet meeting. In which Vij was not seen.
3 big decisions taken in the cabinet meeting
At the same time, CM Naib Saini told about the decisions taken in the cabinet that the government will give Rs 3.10 crore to the commission agents of Haryana. The CM said- There was a complaint from the commission agents that they have suffered a lot in the Rabi procurement season 2024-25. Therefore, we had announced to give one-time relief. In view of which the commission agents will be given an amount of Rs 3.10 crore. It has been approved by the cabinet.
Apart from this, amendment has been allowed in the Village Common Land Act-1959. Whoever has a house older than 20 years on Panchayat land, they will be given ownership rights at the collector rate. Under this, land up to 500 square yards can be given.
It will be given as per the collector rate of 2004. A person can get it in his name for one year. Such land can also be sold at any rate. The director will be able to approve it. It will not require cabinet approval. Apart from this, Haryana Wildlife Protection Act-2024 has been approved, in which criteria have been set for obtaining permits.
The CM said that the budget session was discussed in the cabinet. For this, the cabinet has given powers to the CM. Our party is ready for the civic elections.
At the same time, there is a discussion among Anil Vij’s close associates that if Vij’s displeasure is not removed, then he can also return the VOLVO car worth Rs 80 lakh given by the government. Giving indications of this in Rohtak 2 days ago, Vij had said – I did not take any facility of ministers. Did not even take a bungalow. There is a car, the workers say that if the government takes it back, we will give it.
Bhupendra Hooda said – Vij has told about the work of 100 days
Speaking to the media during the cabinet meeting, former CM Bhupendra Hooda said that I do not need to say anything on the completion of 100 days of Haryana government, Vij sahab has told everything. 100 days is all in vain, because whatever he had promised, he did not fulfill it.
He had promised to give 2100 rupees to women, will give 2 lakh permanent government jobs. Will buy paddy crop at MSP of Rs 3100. Now he is saying that he is giving MSP on 24 crops. 24 crops are not grown in Haryana. Employees engaged in HKRNL are being fired.
Vij stuck in a tough fight in 2024 elections
Anil Vij contested from Ambala Cantt on BJP ticket. For the first time here Vij got stuck in a tough fight. He was being challenged by Chitra Sarwara, the independent candidate daughter of former Congress minister Nirmal Singh. Vij defeated Chitra by 20,165 votes in the 2019 elections, but this time the margin was reduced to just 7,277. In such a situation, Vij had expressed suspicion that people from his own party supported Chitra Sarwara to defeat him.
After the victory, he said – there was a conspiracy against me, the government did not take action
Anil Vij also became a minister after winning the election. After this, in a thank you visit to Ambala Cantt, Anil Vij raised questions on officials and leaders of his party. Vij said that the officials did not make arrangements for his security.
A conspiracy was hatched to kill him. People were made to join Chitra Sarwara’s camp to defeat him. Vij demanded action from the government against Ambala DC Parth Gupta, who was the District Election Officer at the time of the elections. But, the government did not take any action even after 100 days.
Anil Vij talked about not going to the Grievances Committee and about being stripped of his ministerial post
After this, Anil Vij said on January 20 that now I may not go to the Grievances Committee meeting. Our orders are not being followed. Like Dallewal (farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal), I will also go on a hunger strike for the work of Ambala Cantt assembly constituency.
On January 31, Vij said- Those who tried to defeat me in the elections, whether they were officers, employees or small leaders. I wrote about all these. 100 days have passed, neither was I asked in this matter, nor was any action taken.
On February 1, Vij said- I do not say anything, what is my status. Whatever I say, I speak from the soul and the voice of the soul cannot be suppressed. On February 2, Vij said in Rohtak- I never asked for the post of Chief Minister nor that of a minister.
Even while being a minister, I did not take any accommodation. If anyone wants to snatch this post now, then of course they can do so, it won’t matter to me, but they can’t snatch my seniority and my MLA status.
A direct attack on CM a day before the cabinet meeting
The government removed Ambala DC Parth Gupta to convince Anil Vij. But Vij was not happy with this. He said- After 100 days of the government, whether the DC is changed or not, it doesn’t matter. As soon as the elections were over, I had said that the officers have worked against me.
After this, on February 3, Vij made a 52-second video of 17 pictures and posted it on social media. In which he claimed that the leaders who roamed with the CM are roaming with Chitra Sarwara who contested against him. Vij called them traitors. Vij played the song ‘Kya miliye aise logon se jinki naturet chhipi rahe, nakli chehra saamne aaye, asli surat chhipi rahe’ in the background.
Every action of the government could not convince Vij
Seeing Vij’s displeasure, the government first removed Ambala DC Parth Gupta. After this, Hafed manager Mukesh Kumar was chargesheeted in Sirsa. On Vij’s displeasure, CM Naib Saini also said that Anil Vij is our leader. He is the leader of the party. I do not know what might have happened to him.
There was a clash between Anil Vij and Naib Saini twice before
Anil Vij had a clash with Naib Saini even before Naib Saini became the Chief Minister. In fact, even when Naib Saini was the BJP president in Ambala, Vij’s displeasure with him remained. Vij had objected to the fact that why a meeting was being held in Ambala Cantt without his consent.
Naib Saini was a state minister in the Khattar government in 2014. He was an MLA from Narayangarh. Vij was an MLA from Ambala Cantt and a cabinet minister in the government. Ambala Cantt and Narayangarh assembly are adjacent to each other.
In such a situation, Naib Saini started holding public darbar in the rest house of Ambala Cantt. Vij also used to hold public darbar then. Vij got upset with Saini’s court and he permanently closed Saini’s Janta Darbar in the Rest House.
