Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, excited by this scheme, said that the government is feeling proud in providing pilgrimage to the elderly. Devotees will visit Sri Hazur Sahib and Sri Patna Sahib, Varanasi, Mathura, Ajmer Sharif and other places by trains. He said that devotees are being provided darshan of Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sri Damdama Sahib, Sri Vaishno Devi, Mata Chintpurni Ji, Mata Naina Devi Ji, Mata Jwala Ji, Salasar Dham, Khatu Shyam Ji and other places by buses. He said that seeds of hatred cannot be sown in Punjab. This is a land of brotherhood, love and peace.
Satvir of Ludhiana has visited the religious place under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Yojana. He considers himself fortunate to have visited Sri Hazur Sahib for the first time. He told that during the journey, he got food, local travel, welcome kit and accommodation facilities absolutely free.
Visit to different religious places Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Sri Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo, Mata Vaishnu Devi, Mata Jwalaji, Mata Chintpurni Ji, Mata Naina Devi Ji, Sri Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji Dham Ji is done through AC buses. AC accommodation and food will be provided during the journey to these places.
